Tribal Tattoo Patterns

Do not neglect the history of Tattoo Patterns.

That is today’s lesson. Very important. Some people look at tribal tattoos and consider them pretty patterns. But to some people they are much more than that.

Now, I myself, don’t get all stringent-like when it comes to tradition and observance, but I do like history and meaning, and so think if you are going to get a tribal tattoo, you owe it to yourself – or to the history of the traditon – to find out what your preferred symbol actually means. It’s that extra bit of attention that will add significance to your tattoo choice.

Take this one for example. This is a marriageable Melanesian/Polynesian girl  – that’s what the V-shaped drawing stands for.

Don’t make a mistake by rushing into your tattoo. Most tattoo memberships aren’t that expensive – they cost no more than a night at the movies for two. Surely you can give that up for  unlimited professional tattoo designs.
